Kay is a highly skilled osteopath and Pilates instructor with 18 years of experience. Kay graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (formally BCNO) with a degree in both Osteopathic and Naturopathic Medicine.
For the last 16 years, Kay has integrated her Pilates knowledge and instruction into her treatments. Alongside osteopathic clinics, Kay teaches both individual and group mat work classes.
Kay has an enthusiastic eye for movement and postural alignment in all her patients. She has a structural approach to osteopathy and has lots of experience treating a multitude of musculoskeletal conditions including sciatica and back pain, along with neck and shoulder injuries. Kay has a specialist interest in treating pre and post natal women.
Kay employs a large array of manual techniques but may also include the use of dry needling, taping techniques and shockwave therapy to assist in the individualised care for her patients. Using her naturopathic background and interest in healthy living pillars, Kay may integrate nutritional lifestyle advice to enhance the health and wellbeing of her patients.
Kay is fully insured, a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and registered with the General Osteopathic Council. Kay is a recognised provider to all major private health insurance companies such as AXA PPP, BUPA and WPA.
Kay’s most recent endeavour has been that she authored a book titled ‘Thanks For My Kidney, Mum!’, in which she writes about her lived experience and journey through kidney disease and transplant surgery. To read more, please go to the Author tab on the home page.
